Say I got a memory dump from the client system. I don't know what is what but the secret is in their somewhere. Filtering it down by the hash prefix locally is much leas likly to be detected then spamming the servers.

Yes I guess if you trust the hash implementation completly; I just favour a bit more defence in depth.

I am not confident enough in this area to to report a vunrability, the networking alone probably makes timing impractical. I thought it was now practical to generate known prefix Sha256, so some information could be extracted? Not enough to

I read it more as "blue and underlined" because if we all do that users have a chance at learning what to expect. With an implied: Once they are confident we can be much more flexable.

Everything was a zero-day at one point in time. The effort is indeed usually put in whilst it is the current version. But retying all old malware isn't effort; it is more or less the definition of script-kiddy (though state level attac

I was replying to a post that said "Please be aware this is pre-alpha software." presumably trying to make a distinction from "alpha software".

Pointlessmy anal; but 0.0.0a6 is very strongly indicative of the sixth alpha release. Pre-alpha are much better as .dev releases.

Tends to be a matter of opinion. Postgres does not expose the relevant functions, so https://github.com/pganalyze/libpg_query has to do some heavy lifting to convert their source code into a nice library. Conversely, P

The watch with the most complications is any $200 WearOS. You will need to have spent over $1,000,000 on their other watches before they will talk to you about a price for this one; practicality is not a factor to consider.

Interesting article and substantively correct about the direct impact of tariffs. But is using a bit of a straw-man as a hook. It is very easy to buy decent quality sneakers for $2 wholesale, and Nike do sell a lot of $150 sneakers. No one
