That's why I asked. My thought was maybe site admins could use this to create a blacklist of spam sources, or run some kind of experiments. No idea, that's why I threw it out there. Thanks for your input!

Very cool. Would be neat if the phone name links to phone info/specs (shadow box?). Well done and useful!

Sure, I'd love to check this out! Could you please run a demo with a link on your main page(did I miss it?) I don't think having users upload their info just to see a demo is good practice.

Interesting point about the desktop widget. Initially, i believe in 1.0 and 1.5, you could click in the widget and type. After that the widget was updated to launch the search app just like the search button. It basically became a 4 column

Search button at first seemed superfluous to me also, however I have really found a few great uses. I use it all the time now: Instead of launching the browser and then going to an web address, I can punch it in after hitting the search but

Google is refusing to support a phone that is less than a 2 years old, the 3GS was just upgraded to iOS 5. This makes me very sad.

My theory was and will be that Google knew they would have to eventually allow other name types. Meanwhile, everyone that was on the fence, relented and used their real name. Then when they eventually allow people to do whatever, they look

My other piece of advise is that I would stay far away from being compared to Siri. You will by definition always lose, as you are not processing contextual statements. Just bill this is a (big)improvement on Google Voice Actions.

Seems a little sneaky/dishonest of you to not mention the 20 incoming(EDIT: should read compose) sms limit for the app, without paying $20/year. Here is the copy from the android market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sonalight
