Not quite. See these tweets from the author of TouchJSON (Spoiler: JSONKit is still faster, TouchJSON still has a better interface): http://twitter.com/#!/schwa/status/94835100075819008 http://twitter.com/#!/schwa/status/9484091507567411

Apps that support full-screen mode are supposed to add a menu item with the keyboard shortcut of cmd + ctrl + f to enter/exit full screen.

How is what you described any different than a PC, with the exception that Microsoft is producing the hardware in addition to HP/Acer/etc?

No, Apple doesn't. What Apple has is a "download server components from the web during install to lower initial download costs" step.

As someone running DP4 as their primary OS (running it full-time makes it easier for me to run into edge-case issues with apps I care about), Lion lacking stability is news to me.

By "dynamic" do you mean "interpreted"? Because Objective-C is a pretty dynamic and flexible language, otherwise.

XCode 3.2 defaults to GCC 4.2 with LLVM optionally available and IIRC XCode 4 too (can't check as I downgraded for various reasons). Xcode 4 defaults to llvm-gcc, not gcc-4.2.

Looking at Lady Gagas twitter (10m followers, average celebrity) when she tweets a link it gets ~100,000 clicks, 1%, so to suggest 3.6 million timelines is 3.6 users "reached" (where reached means actually engaged) is silly, it'll be close

Up until just now, I didn't know that. And if you didn't reply to my comment just now, I still wouldn't know it. And you explicitly telling people about how being a collaborator works isn't a scalable way for people to find out. And it soun

Given the choice between a private dashboard vs a public repo list being spammed, I'll take the former, any day. I don't want either, but the former is an annoyance to me and only me . The latter is something that can (potentially) give a

Not with Lion. The only way to get Lion right now is from the Mac Dev Program. It is a beta OS. It runs beta versions of Xcode. Apps built with beta versions of Xcode (4.1) will fail to validate when you try and submit them to the App Store

Who cares? This is still an awesome bit of code. But, if you really want to go there, based on the dates listed on http://www.tramm.li/iWiki/FrontPage.html , this was done a few months prior to Bellard's x86 emulator :)

I love how "SJ keynote demos" is something you put in a one sentence description of what he did. And what's even crazier is if I had to describe what this guy did to someone else I'd probably sound more like, "Built some of Steve Job's dem

Chase has an iPhone app that lets you scan checks. Only for small amounts. If the check is for a large amount (over $750? I'm not sure exactly what the limit is), the app will refuse to let you scan it in and tell you to go to a branch in

Also, Safari. My favorite way of browsing docs is to open them up and hide the tabbar, urlbar and statusbar at the bottom of the screen. this leaves me with a very minimalist window and let's me focus completely on what I'm reading.

I've seen you cite that number, 10% of users being jailbroken, a few times. Where does it come from? Have 18.7 million people really jailbroken[1]? That seems high to me. Is it possible that the number is (somewhat) inflated due to people j
