Yeah sure, but saying that there are no "dark corners" is just naive. Counterculture in the 70s or 90s weren't massive movements at all. I don't see how it has changed looking at teens at the school of my children. It&#x

You are what you are. The pettiness of your response tells everyone what they need to know about you, without even shaking hands. I am still mad they killed the old final cut... :(

Sorry but people likt that are the reason why there are instructions on shampoo bottles and hot warning labels on coffee to go cups. There are so many reasons to be critical of apple but that's not it.

The real issue is that too many developers love the end result, aka the shiny app, but not the sweat and tears that go into creating it. So, most apps are just hastily thrown together to show off on Git, LinkedIn, Matrix or wherever else th

Honest question do you guys believe that without ad blocking Google and others would cut back because they could create the same shareholder value while serving fewer ads?

Is it a commercial success or does it just look like one? We don't know yet. The biggest success is probably the chat user interface...UX catapulted it to where it is now. That's more fascinating than everything else.

It's getting used because it's the only thing you can do to force a platform to comply. No matter if right or wrong a DCMA will make it go away in the short term.

Sounds a lot like my dad telling me to go to law school instead of getting into cs. He thought the ultimate goal of cs is to make everyone in the field obsolete... well maybe he was right in the end.
