All I care about is battery life and level of friction to creating an app. 2+ weeks and extremely low, so language purism is irrelevant imo

As someone who was a huge fan of the original Pebble series, it's hard to get excited about this offering when compared to the alternatives available today with more features and a cheaper price. I'm currently wearing the BangleJS

I decided to use Recommendarr as Trakt requires both Trakt VIP membership and Plex Pass. It works quite well!

Firefox is the lesser of the evils. I hate what Mozilla is doing, but I also don't want to cede control of the web to Google. Vote with your feet. I'm hopeful for Ladybirds future.

This is it, the typical model of throwing things out into the ether and hoping they go viral is less effective here. It's easier to build an audience by thoughtfully engaging in discourse rather than trying to advertise yourself as som

One of the nice things that make Bluesky different is that there isn't really a single central algorithm that everyone is forced to use. This combined with the many novel moderations tools like feeds and labellers mean it's pretty

Completely agree. It's well known that the LMSys arena benchmarks are heavily skewed with bias towards whatever is new and exciting. Meanwhile even OpenAI have acknowledged Sonnet as being a superior coding model. This is clearly evid

There's an excellent extension that makes this pretty simple to manage. Additionally the windows it creates have some pwa specific settings, like how links should be handled. https://github.com/filips123/PWAsForFir
