Does anyone have adequate resources to share on learning Math "from scratch"? I must shamefully admit that anything beyond the basic symbols is entirely foreign to me.

We should have a Godwin's law equivalent for the "think of the children" argument, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter are the home of plenty of child abuse, I've seen it firsthand, shall we ban all social media? Shall we also

Can we talk about the user experience of using Bitcoins? The first time I've used Bitcoin to buy something it took me almost a whole afternoon to do it, why? Because my bank, like almost all other banks in my country, blocked Bitcoin p

We're focusing on RPGs mostly, and working on integrations with popular systems such as D&D. Playtable honestly looks very sweet, I love the 3D that still kind of feel like 2D, I didn't really enjoy the Tabletop Simulator 3D w

It'd take a lot for me to leave Figma for another tool, performances are rock-solid on my 2015 low-end MBP in the browser, granted I'm not working on the most complex UIs but I've yet to see limitations. I do not miss Sketch

Correct me but isn't that how innovation also works? Maybe there's some great idea hiding in these 10%. Following your logic: we shouldn't have Redis, Rust, Go... Making something new is sometimes also about allowing yourself

I've noticed that many websites are just plain broken with Firefox, and I'm talking _big_ websites that don't even load because the JS doesn't work for some reason on Firefox, even with plugins disabled. Some of them are

I achieved 60 (72% of users will like it) with my side-project[1] which is mostly an artwork, I believe its colorfulness helped the score a lot. I'd love for the algorithm to give me clear indications on what it believes I should impro

Web developer currently learning Rust and curious about Actix Web here: how does it compare to let's say Node.Js in regard to performance and security? Any feedback on real-world projects to give?

I'd suggest having a look at IoT, chances are you already have the skill set to work with IoT and the demand will only grow in the following years.

I have an honest question for Twitter users of HN: what's the net positive value of Twitter to your life? It feels like using Twitter or not has been an uninterrupted argument for years, even on HN, as if on one end your rational brain

Redux was my first introduction to FP, and I loved it. You simply have to use Redux Toolkit that takes care of the ugly parts of Redux (namely: the boilerplate code), and it becomes a breeze to build things with Redux.
