You can detect where the cursor is before editing the input value, and place it in the correct place afterwards. This is a pretty basic trick used in many different places, including by Cleave itself.

I'm not sure what you're trying to convey with your comment. Do you have reason to believe otherwise? If so, you should take the bet. Otherwise, readers have no reason to believe someone who isn't willing to put their money o

As far as I can tell, "mechanically separated meat" is meat that's been mechanically separated from bones by a grinding process. The prion fears are because some of the bone gets in, and some of the bone contains nerve tissue

Your link also says that, as of 2004, the USDA considers mechanically separated beef prohibited for use in human food. So I'm guessing that means the "pink slime" this article is talking about is something else?

I'm actually kind of surprised that programmers, of all people, would oppose guard-rails. At university, it was a meme that no one's C program ever compiled the first time they tried. I can't imagine even the best programmer

I mean, that's true of Reddit, too; the fact that memes are more common on Reddit now is directly because more people enjoy memes. Anyway, I don't really want to include a value judgment here; I'm just observing that it chang

I don't know if you pronounce "missy" differently than I do, but I pronounced the second syllable "see". And to me, Mandarin 'xi' sounds a lot more like "she" than "see".
