I decided to try with each of the options available in Kagi Ultimate, starting with the lower tier models and working my way up until it got it right. Kimi 2.6: treated the question as a riddle, did not know. Kimi 3: Simon Willison GLM 5.3

jj just makes lots of git operations go from "technically possible if you're creative enough" to "<= 3 solutions, one of them probably being obvious". jj lowers the skill ceiling of git, and raises the floor.

Sam is on a delayed trajectory of power, but he surely was not great when he was young either. See: Aaron Swartz calling him a sociopath who could not be trusted, well over a decade ago.

If you saw a product from a brand on a billboard on your commute, and a product from a brand you've never seen before, you'd probably be able to pick which one you've never seen before.

Advertisements don't need to be clicked to work. Billboards clearly work for reasons other than being clicked.

Local advertisements can be nice. The advertisement section in the local newspaper was a thing people used to actually seek out, once upon a time. The real problem is the scaling of advertisement frameworks globally and algorithmically serv

Thanks for the pointer! I had set up mistral a while back using pi to compliment my local Qwen usage, but I found Qwen to just be better for all of my tasks at a substantially cheaper price, and reasonably fast tps. I also tried signing up

You can undo a push, yes. It undoes the local state of the remote branches after the push operation. ie: branch@origin will point at the commit it did before the push action. It doesn't actually update the branch on the remote. That wo

I think the problem with having a higher wattage is that you can't have a substantial amount without introducing what would generally be an undesirable amount of drag. It would certainly be useful to be able to engage / disengage

They are different like you say, but the jump from an interactive, agentic shell like pi to a long running agent like OpenClaw is not a hard jump to make with extensions and scripts. Even just running pi in a cron job will get you a large p

If you kill because you are hungry, it seems logical you would eat your prey. If your prey doesn't actually provide nutrients, but killing them eliminates competition to nutrients, the behavior would be evolutionarily beneficial, even

I'm not sure how context is managed between reasoning traces and actual output in Claude / claude code, but if the reasoning trace is in the context of the question for "why did you do that", it can actually answer why i

I forgot this thread was about Windows, lol. Most of the software engineers I know use GNU/Linux.

I can't think of any software engineers I personally know who use Mac. In my industry, pretty much anyone who uses Mac is in a managerial position.

Very cool! I haven't used Odin myself, but from what I understand, it has a sort of dynamically-scoped-allocator system. How does that work in Kvist? Do you have direct control over allocators?

Do you just assume your model knows how to use `jj`? What about personal scripts or lesser known CLIs? I was using `uv` as an example to make a point.

I haven't really been doing this yet, but for what it's worth, I think explaining how to use tools doesn't really belong in your agents.md. I think it's better to use it to explain the what tools are available (infor
