On the other hand, I think the main point of literate programming was to make programs easier to maintain, and I constantly hear about the big gap between developping a notebook and pushing the code into production. Notebooks feels more lik

The website is made to show you how much time you have left, to highlight that time is precious. To get this reminder, you have to enter your date through a date picker. This date picker is cumbersome, and makes you waste time. I think this

You're missing my point. V not being as developped as other languages is perfectly fine, and I have no issues with that. My problem here is one of trust. The people behind the language have made wild claims that are objectively false.

I agree with you about robust, maintanable software and simplicity. I also think that Go solves those problems pretty well. My point is that there is no need to put down other things, since simplicity may vary from person to person, teams t

You've made a great project, and I can see your concern about open source. However, just to give you the opposing point of view, open source doesn't always mean community-driven development. For example, Rich Hickey, creator of Cl

V is still vaporware at this point, most of the claims on the website are just not true. For example, the "coreutils" example is just filled with folders containing "delete.me" files, with no actual code.

You could make the same arguments when you're working with slices in Go. Take append(slice, element). Does it return a slice with the element appended to it, or does it modify the slice in-place?. For some things, you have to look at t
