(a * (1 - t)) + (b * t) would be my favorite way to express this in a programming context, I don't really see the point of your proposition over prefix or stack: (+ (* a (- 1 t)) (* b t)) 1 t - a * b t * +

Interesting, on AZERTY (french) keyboards, parentheses are unshifted. They are on 5 and on ° (the key just right of 0). On the other hand, { is on alt gr on 4, [ on alt gr on 5, ] on alt gr ° and } on alt gr + (right of °). I wonder if it i

Surprisingly, I find the first image (the 10 000 random points) to be one of the most please of the article. My favorite would be the squares with noise, then the 10k random points, then the blue squares.

I think that's because it's about communicating it to the people around you. It's easy to notice someone crying, it's harder to notice someone that felt something strong and showed almost no signs.

My whole point is that it wasn't feasible 12 years ago. Java 10 (which came with var) was released in 2018.

Years past sunset? At work we have customers that use IE every day. These arguments certainly still apply, especially since IE isn't even EOL yet.

Don't give money to the developer, give money to the project. For example, create bounties for new features or issues fixed. Try to estimate the development time needed for a feature/bug fix and pay a good rate depending on that.
