Ok. What happens if GNU decides to Fork the GPL v3 and call it "GPLv3+NSA Exception" and then relicense all their code to this new forked license? A clause in this forked license is that the NSA can't use it.

I have a question. It's pretty much a safe bet that the NSA runs Open Source Software. You can't do anything on the internet these days without using FLOSS. I'm not an expert in software licenses but can't GNU, Linus, Mo

I was curious to see if I could get my hands on the documentary but the order page says "US Only". Is there a way for us Europeans to get a hold of a copy?

While I agree with the sentiment, will this actually change anything? I have yet to see anybody anywhere making any difference ...

Seriously guys, how much of this is Obama's fault? Isn't it Bush that we all should be complaining to?

What if you go to GMail and then go to the bottom right which says "Last account activity"? Click on the "Details" option and then "Sign out all other sessions". Does that help?

Thanks! That's a lot clearer. (PS: Despite my criticism, HN is by far the best tech news site around. To everyone involved: Keep it up!)

Sorry to be offtopic but I'm beginning to get annoyed of all the stories that have a title that give you no indication of what the story is about. For example the top story "Glass". Am I supposed to automatically know what that is about? Sa

I think that's the problem. Because it is so much in flux one minute you think you have the framework down and the next minute you realize that things have changed. It's interesting you mention complexity. When you're developing a very rich

Dojo tries so hard to turn JavaScript into a full-fledged OO framework. The problem is that Dojo is not intuitive at all. Most of the time you get lost in the forest of angle brackets, DOM (dojo?) nodes, delegate functions, etc. It's impo

It's sounds cool and all but would you run this in a production environment? I am a ASP.NET developer by day and Linux fan at night, but there is no way I can convince anyone run ASP.NET applications on Linux. I don't think you can reliably
