You are correct, I was drawing the wrong conclusions from how the HTTP headers are sent. It doesn't affect how much info the ISP gets. However, POST parameters are somewhat more secure, since less info about your query is cached by you

I am one of those that have changed to DDG after the scandals. So far it feels like I find my results as quickly as I used to do with Google. One nice feature that I just found: under the Privacy tab at https://duckduckgo.com

Exactly. IANAL but as far as I know there are no quotas or educational requirements. Just as long you get a fair salary (which has to be approved by a trade union) then you're good to go. Edit: why the down vote? I am honestly curious

Your site is down so I can't comment on that. Sweden has reasonably liberal laws when it comes to working visas. You need to get a job offer with a salary that isn't below the market rate in Sweden. If you can get that then your c

I recently found out about a service that pretty much offers this. It's called Pay4Bugs: https://www.pay4bugs.com/ . Has anyone tried it? Is it any good?

No, he was not a tax attorney. I agree, it seems outrageous but it doesn't seem completely impossible. If the servers are located in the US one could argue that the company is doing business in the US.

This should solve lots of scalability headaches for many companies! My gut feeling is that the DB is the most common bottleneck for many web-services and I/O is the most common bottleneck for the DB.

Sure, but you could perhaps model that as some form of default risk. Real bonds also have a risk of not returning the yield they're supposed to return (just look at Greece). Also, if they add support for getting paid in AWS-credits, I'm sur

Really cool! New startup idea: create a trading algorithm that acts as a market maker of reserved instances. You should probably be able to price the reserved instances pretty much like bonds, if you compare it to the on-demand instances. Y
