I don't think we should. Calling people names won't help change their minds. Call them something that indicates the true problem: misinformed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I _love_ the idea of rsync.net but the pricing just cripples it. $40/TBmo up to 10TB, $30/TBmo up to 100TB or $20/TBmo beyond that. And you have to buy the storage up front

I've substantially de-Googled but there's still the huge issue of mobile operating systems. If I choose iOS, I get a device that respects my privacy and gives me some degree of control over what apps on my device can do (e.g. GPS

It's a democratic process yes but the country is still a constitutional and largely functional monarchy. Democracy is an indicator of whether the people are represented but it is not the definition. I think a better indication of wheth

I've lived on both continents (and one extra for good measure) and I'm afraid I can't agree. What I see is that there's plenty of innovation in Europe but it's rarer for companies to become the monstrous beasts that

I gave it a go based on your suggestion and I found it a horror to set up (it forces you to write a new importer just for it!?) but it's quite nice once you do.

Considering what you can get for $3k a year from a non-Apple builder, I think it is out of line, unless you _really_ need Mac OS. Puget Systems for example sells purpose-built systems optimized for a particular application. A 3D design and

Personally narrative only helps me remember when I care about it, which usually isn't the case when I read this kind of article. For me the endless fluff around the information is just wasted time.

I'm not saying the old Pinebook wasn't bad, I've never owned it but some of your points are a bit hollow for me. > CPU was compared to the PS3 and GPU was compared to the original Xbox, for reference. Why is this a problem

I'm not sure what you're talking about, this price point already has tons of competition. OnePlus, Pocophone, Huawei, Xiaomi and of course Samsung all have decent-spec phones in this price region. I think the only complaint I have

I think this looks like a better deal when you compare it to the flagships but you have to remember that flagship prices have been exploding and midrange has thriving competition. For $280, right this second, you can buy a Pocophone F1 from
