The title is missing "For Me" from the end. I moved from Linux to OS X because Linux couldn't cut it for me . The closer is arrogant too: "If every thing I said went over your head, and you think I’m crazy, it just means your time hasn’t

Those benchmarks don't look that hot when compared to the benchmarks Anandtech did with the iPad 2, even with its higher res. screen (more than 2x the pixels). http://www.anandtech.com/show/4216/apple-ipad-2-gpu-performa...

Lack of an iOS player is interesting. I don't see a technical reason why Amazon couldn't make one. Ditto with an iOS video player for Amazon Video-on-Demand. Not making either of those (plus the Amazon Appstore & Kindle) makes me think

Late Monday night seems odd to me. Maybe they caught wind of Apple announcing something on Tuesday morning (traditional time for Apple to drop news)?

I agree with you. That said, where does it cross the line from beneficial spin to providing misleading information? Can, for instance, a landlord claim to a court that a tenant agreed not to throw loud parties in the rental contract (even

What about "Yes, but I don't use it.". Some sites force you to use a Facebook login, so I created an account but it has nothing on it but my name (no pics, etc.).

Me thinks you haven't been programming long if you don't know what the green triangle does. It's been a "play button" for over a decade.

"...makes 1 mistake of being rude to the waiter..." This is where you are losing everyone. A mistake is forgetting your keys or making a math error on a spreadsheet. Treating someone with no respect, hitting someone, etc. Are not "mistakes"

How many times does this need to be posted? It has already been shown to be a bogus report that doesn't even test what it claims to.

The iPad was never meant to "kill" the laptop. From the very introduction, Jobs said it was to fill the role between the smartphone and the laptop. The iWork apps are consistently top sellers in the App Store. Apple didn't create iMovie an

In my head I would do: 30 * 24 (which is just 3 * 24 * 10) = 720 6 * 24 (which is the same as 12 * 12) = 144 720 + 144 = 864

That report you linked also says that the number of smartphone users is up 60% vs. a year ago. So the negligible decrease of 0.3% is pretty meaningless when that ~25% is now 60% larger than it was a year ago.

You're looking at it wrong. Why spend $1200 on an Air of the $15000 when you can keep the whole $15k and get an Air. You get $15k with both, difference is if you want the Air on top of that or not.

Taking down the Mac gets you the best laptop and the most press. Simple. It would be different if the other OS/browsers didn't go down too, but because the Mac is always first to go just means it's the most desirable target.
