Target knows everything about their customers. I'm not even kidding. There's a whole outline of their data mining in the book "The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business". It's scary.

I've been using a standing desk for 9 months now. I'm a software architect and my days run 8-12 hours, depending on what fires I'm putting out. I found an Ikea Jerker desk on Craigslist for $75, then picked up an industrial a

Leave it as-is. IIRC, YouTube swiped the newsfeed design from Facebook last year or so. Facebook probably picked up some of these new-to-them UI concepts from other sites. Who cares?

You might try asking this on http://stackoverflow.com/ , but you'd be surprised in how many companies would go for a paid product over open source. The main reason, so they can "choke someone when it all goes to hell" (to quote a coworker)

I'm using the last version of the Ikea Jerker desk. Found it on Craigslist for $70. It doesn't adjust height, but IMO that defeats the purpose of a stand up desk. I really need to blog my experience with it. I can't go back to sitting and I
