I feel like we had a discussion of this crash in the past. Would be nice to find those threads. Feels like we're missing a piece of the puzzle in this story. Maybe something else happened over that year? Politics? The story starts as y

I am trying to make a point. Apparently very poorly. Either way, these Tesla protests are just idiotic. The vandalism is criminal. If this is the way Americans save their democracy and the rest of us rely on them then we're all doomed.

I have a CS degree. I read all my textbooks. In some math classes I read textbooks I wasn't required to in the library to help me understand things that I didn't understand in the official textbook.

Totally agree. This is something I think a lot of "do-gooders" miss. We're only in a position to do better because we took care of ourselves. It's a prerequisite. The flip side of that is taking do good (for the planet,

My sense was OKRs came later for both Intel and Google. Do you know around what year/size they started? I worked with some ex-Google person who tried to get us to use OKRs. That totally didn't work. Larger company. Like many thing

My experience is the opposite. Easy stuff is simpler to pair up. Really hard stuff is solo. E.g. I expect Ph.D. work to be mostly a solo project. Not that it's impossible to do hard work collaboratively but I think a lot of heavy think
