Your argument has no relevance to the comment you are responding to as the point being made was it is human nature for (some) people to get complacent regardless of the circumstances.

Sure. I was mainly concerned with the idea that most people are dating for marriage which I don't think is the case, at least under age 30. But I think it's possible to be a relationship expert even with one or two real relationsh

That's a bad assumption to make. Plenty of people just want to have fun dating.

I think this is more likely caused by grad school being a poor investment for the average American but a great investment for a foreign student looking to get a job in America.

How does one get into the hardware side of things to do stuff like this? I wouldn't know where to start with components, wiring things together, etc.

Grats. That's awesome! How did you market it? Seems like weightlifting apps has to be a pretty saturated market. Also assuming its a native iOS app since there isn't an android equivalent. Were you an iOS developer in big tech? Bu

We all do because the time dilation* is so bad it takes 10 minutes to have a button click register (not joking). *time dilation is a hack the devs added to make it so their servers don't crash when many people are in the same space. It

> I personally abandoned SQL about a decade ago So you're in the camp that nosql data stores like dynamo/mongo is a good replacement for most SQL workflows? Can you expand on this a bit if you have the time?

There are still plenty of short men doing perfectly fine and plenty of tall guys doing terribly. I think many men have a very poor understanding of what the women they want want out of their relationships.

Jumping through big tech interview hoops is the most correct part of your statement and it invalidates the idea that you ned to go to the right school or have the right connections. And for what it's worth, the average FAANG developer

I just want to say I think it's good you're supportive of that. As I'm sure you know, getting into software for the wrong reasons ends very poorly.

I agree google is bad, but I think reddit is rapidly becoming equally as inauthentic. I'm sure every major player at this point understands the gains that can be had by astroturfing reddit. The real problem seems to be the internet is

All FAANG interviews are easily studied and passable by anyone that's motivated. Ridiculous to imply FAANG only hires geniuses. And since sign on bonus offsets backloaded vesting it hardly matters unless you truly believe amazon stock

Don't you think you have to be reading with bad faith or a huge amount of preemptive judgement to jump to the conclusion that DoorDash would penalize disabled employees based on this?

I just don't think those are the requirements to get a job at FAANG. I went to a mid sized public school in the midwest that isn't even in the top 100 US schools, my IQ is definitely average, and I seriously didn't understand

What makes it unachievable? The process is very straightforward. Every friend of mine that wanted to work at FAANG has been able to and you really just need to spend a couple weeks/months practicing.
