Well there isn't a nice and easy test, but in linguistics it tends to come down to some measure of mutual intelligibility. How much meaning can a speaker of Variety A garner from a speaker of Variety B? And vice versa. For tricky disti

At about 88 secs in the second video[1] they show the inside of some sort of "trap" for the fish where water flows rapidly over a grate (and claim "volitional entry"). But I agree it's still an open question whether

Judging by the tools provided, it looks to be a clone of SimCity Classic. I'll remember those 3x3 zone tiles forever. EDIT: Strictly speaking, SimCity Classic let you remove the edge tiles of residential plots as long as you didn'

I appreciate the way you worded it, and I agree 100% for myself. I'm hardly a strong extrovert, but something about the assurance of being able to go and find activity at any time really makes me less stressed and more effective at wor

I'd love to make a DIY spherical globe display, even if it were quite limited compared to the official SOS model. I imagine setting up the projection is the most difficult aspect... anyone have resources on the matter?

Well the "town" is a township [1], not really a town as people outside the Midwest US (edit: and parts of New England) would think of it. Just a level of municipality lower than a county, a last vestige of the Northwest Ordinance

I didn't even know I could scroll down because holding the down button did nothing. That said, I do agree the video is really nice, and it's been a while since I saw a promising approach to collaborative video editing.
