What's stopping Canonical ? 1) Their goals. They are trying to get Ubuntu more widely adopted, not to polish it, at least, not yet. 2) Orders of magnitude, risk involved and business model. Apple is like what ? 100,000 employees and 50

I don't know, the Contamination effect seems more like buffer overflow in our neural network and the Repetition effect more like a poor implementation of caching.

True, should've said 'because the NSA was involved in the design of the standard'. They never classified it (the design), but I think they did in DES. And it makes sense, especially at the time, to harden against differential

Desktop. Talking desktop. You will never get them to do it by themselves, you have to set it up for them. There is a resistence to switching to Linux, because of the image they have in their mind about it. Mint and Ubuntu are very user frie

This is a bit like saying you can't trust AES because it was declassified by the NSA and offered to the public. It works well enough within its limits. There is nothing that will protect you from active surveillance from a global actor
