Without Bluetooth support, it's not much use. You'd be limited to having a dongle connected your smartphone, or the watch only working when you were within the range of a base station.

The other catch with that approach is that requests can be simultaneous, fail, and/or arrive out-of-order, so the server would need to accept any authentication cookie that it had recently sent to the client, not just the last one. Not impo

Client-side encryption does not exclude server-side decryption, ie: only encrypt it on the wire, not the storage device. Like Dropbox.

It would be interesting to see how it copes with proxy servers (like the ones Opera use) that downscale images to reduce the traffic on mobile networks. It would be a good idea to checksum the code to make sure that it is what you're expect
