People have different strategies for discovering new content, I guess. It’s rare for me to watch stuff from creators I don’t know, so I’m not usually surprised by the quality of them. But if any kind of sponsorship of a video counts as “sha

My view on that (which was from very low on the totem pole) is that the acquisition happened at a time where Skype's core business model (paid calling minutes) was under existential threat. Consumer communications preferences had start

If I’m reading the article correctly: some products such as some rodent toxins contain levels of vitamin D3 which are dangerous to humans. Under the new regulation, they will start getting warning labels to this effect. Meanwhile other gove

I get the sentiment of people who are only interested in game reviews and recommendations. But as a gamer myself, if that’s all a site offers then I’m not paying $7 per month for it. I wouldn’t be willing to pay anything for that content t

I started playing around with it and came to the conclusion that it needs a bit more development before it’s ready for me. My use case: I’ve been meaning to build a simple backend for a chatbot that’s active in a community I frequent. The f

I'm not saying it can't possibly happen, but what games have been Xbox exclusives since their studios were bought by MS?

Exclusivity is the big sticking point. I have a first hand contact who was offered funds during game development by Microsoft to be on Xbox on day one. Not to be exclusive to Xbox, but just to avoid exclusivity deals which would preclude a

As others have said - absolutely, yes. Responsibility has very little to do with it, it's all about wanting the best outcome for them. And that should apply to both your children and your friends.

As a people manager, we are well aware of inflation and real income. At least at my company we don't have complete control over annual salary changes, though. This year we were given a mean increase of X% that we had to hit for the tea

I don't think this is endemic to gaming, it's difficult in all creative media to predict the commercial success of a product. The film industry does the same thing in producing blockbuster productions that are more iterative than
