Exactly! That's what i thought. Mailing a password to a user on changing it is maybe not the safest, but it does not mean it saves it plaintext to the database. They can just send out an e-mail when updating the password to the databas

The most realistic solution is to start with basic functionalities on your own infrastructure. Store the emails on your (private) cloud. Of course try to maximize security. Then offer on-premise storage of emails as a premium functionality

You are right about nginx and it's performance. The only problem is that micro instances don't only have low cpu power. But also only a cpu boost. If it's get hit with multiple request after each other, the cpu boost is exhau

No, it would not handle the load. But you can use your AWS S3 bucket as a host for your index.html file. In route 53 you can easily point the index of the domain to your S3 bucket. This way you have a huge load capacity for the lowest price

You have to authorize every domain that wants to use the notifications. Besides that, it has to be a user action, the authorization. You can't automate this process without some hacking. Love the notification API for my webapps. Wish there
