Interesting. I love requests. SQL isn't my area of expertise so im genuinely surprised in 2016 we're still building libraries like this for Python; are existing libraries really that bad?

Wow, i've published a few small apps but know nothing about games. What would be your number 1 improvement to Google Play you'd like to see?

Curious to get feedback from game developers, what their experience has been working with multiple devices, software version and now Android TV. What's the best way to get up to speed with shipping games on Google Play?

Live and work in Baltimore. I don't have a clearance, but I can confirm those types of people are a dime a dozen here. Just like ibanking in nyc or googlers in the valley.

what are the best resources to learn about streaming, dataflow, etc? Not necessarily the Google implementations, but the core concepts backing them.

what's the dating scene like for the 25 - 30 yr old crowd? Everyone tells me mtv / palo alto isn't as cool as san francisco. To some extent i agree with this, but it must be pretty easy to meet people with Stanford there, no?

holey moley that looks cool! I've been getting into postgres more and would love a way to use something like psql from Emacs.

I created my first Android app as a side project. I have a ton to learn both in terms of Java and the Android framework. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.idc...

Can anyone recommend a AI/economics book regarding the implications of a population where jobs are no longer necessary?

Why is two thirds of the README dedicated to Docker? must everything be a Docker container now?

This sounds similar to Bridgewater's culture of radical transparency. The first I had a debrief with my boss I cried all afternoon, but now it's growing on me a bit. Or I just have Stockholm syndrome.

native New Englander living in the mid-atlantic now. I remember the sound of snow guns all throughout the night from the resort on the other side of our mountain. Now i'm homesick

Is this really for someone with no C knowledge, i'd definitely love to learn manual memory management and the such - this might be too much to chew at once.

yea, the Sense browser plugin has made my life a lot easier, but i agree that a relatively sophisticated query/filter + aggregation can be quite a load

Can you actually install additional RAM? I didn't know you could take apart an iMac; i thought that changed after their "unibody" one piece aluminum design.

I really enjoy Adam's blog. Very plain english explanations for everything. This and Clojure for Brave and True make the language much more approachable.

Coming from an AWS shop, I guess I don't understand the use case(s) for this. What this enable me to do that I couldn't accomplish by ssh'ing to any of the boxes in my environment?

I evaluated moving to MTV last fall to take a job with GOOG; bayshore drive certainly is the most direct and dicey route. I'm in a position to move there this fall and knowing that Palo Alto, MTV etc would be connected via safe bikeway

really excited to dig into this, though i don't know much javascript or React. I'm curious to see how material design comes across in these types of apps and how easily it will be to tell apart a native app and the "react&quo

So does Google have a similar policy where only GA can get information about users in the Play store, or is that not tracked at all?

I'll be very curious to see how this stacks up against Google Analytics (if that's its competition). Can't wait to read more about it.

I guess the DataFrame API needs to be spelled out for me. Does this mean RDDs will be deprecated in the future if the new DataFrame is faster? As someone who's gateway drug into programming was R it's been fun to watch data frames
