I like how this comment implies that you are not fit and thus have no idea what they actually do for exercise. If that is the case, why would you assume they don't use Pelotons? It's nonsensical.

Your argument doesn't make any sense. You fund something when it has too little money. You defund something when it has too much money. If you wanted to abolish or eliminate something you would use those words, not defund.

Wealth tax still seems highly unpopular in the general public, not to mention on HN. I think the average user here is more interested in bringing home FAANG salaries than solving the wealth gap.

And as the other response mentioned, demonstrations were in fact funded in the past. Getting all defensive and outraged is one way to avoid an answer.

You may have trapped yourself in a different web of hypocritical rhetoric: Would you also be against civil rights sit-ins and GoFundMe being used to support those?

My team's daily stand up is incredibly useful. If we didn't find them useful we would have no problem moving them to 2 or 3 times a week. YMMV but as a team lead I hate taking up more of people's time than necessary.

Some companies want you to describe your solution, or say pseudo code is fine. But not every company will be completely honest about how much they actually do penalize for improper syntax.
