Aptera has been trying to get some form of vehicle out the door since 2006... I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah, I'm aware of this; IMO it's a loophole they've been heavily abusing. I would deem this "practicing telemedicine". We do have /some/ regulations on telemedicine (I think? I hope?) -- you could argue

How much is the fine for practicing medicine without a license? This is basically what they're doing by denying claims.

I'm specifically talking about the T2 chips in the laptops. The newest Macbooks can be activation-locked, just like the phones. This has already bitten legitimate owners who are trying to restore backup images, etc.

I wouldn't give them too much credit. With the addition of the T2 "security" chip, your devices are bricks if they can't authenticate against your Apple ID. Combine that with them soldering together formerly modular co

We could end the scourge of Chinese junk overnight if we overhauled their status. It's unconscionable that it costs more to mail something domestically within the US than it does for a Chinese seller to mail a comparable item internat

This also happened with the TV show Northern Exposure , which had a notably great soundtrack. They couldn't get rights to a lot of the music, so it was replaced with more mediocre stuff on the hardcopy releases. Apparently, it's

What a fantastically BS header video -- everyday people getting into what appears to be a real vehicle, using a customer tablet interface, seatbelts... and then no shots of it taking off or even spinning up. Might as well be a fiberglass mo

The plastic halves of the earbud casings are ultrasonically sealed together; you have to break them apart to get at the guts (and IIRC the battery is also soldered in). Just look up the iFixit teardown; they're completely unrepairable.
