I wish the openssh folks would implement a UDP based "whole auth key or no talk at all" protocol. ie Single Packet Authorization Wrapping your ssh with wireguard (because wireguard doesn't respond without a full key) doesn&#x

This seems like a bad fix to the problem of insisting that ssh continue to only use TCP. Wireguard only responds to a complete useful key from incoming UDP (as I understand). Probe resistant. I get the legacy argument here but it seems like

Your quibble with the title is addressed by reading 3-4 paragraphs into the long story. This sort of aggressive argument obscures the meaning and intent of the actual article in favor of some kind of editorial flavoring issue. This behavior

I would expect most any answer to be loopy and partially wrong (or really I'm not surprised when they are) based on the short question, its just something you build intuition around as you use them. edit - btw I just noticed "Sart

Few/none of the wireless gaming mice are using bluetooth, its proprietary radio protocols and usb dongles. Click latency is not too useful vs swipe latency. Bluetooth has a pretty low polling rate iirc and that kills the swipe latency.

This looks closer then anything I've seen so far, thanks! From what I can discern its missing important bits of the controller and doesn't have any steaminput profile etc so it's clunky still. Worth poking at though. edit - t

That's over wifi not usb. Even a bluetooth mouse has too much latency for many games.

The one hack I keep hoping <someoneelse> will do the actual work for is - redirecting my steamdeck control via usb to my linux gaming rig and expose it as a usb device(s) for steaminput. It seems like a natural and perhaps even "

This looks to be using cgroups v1 and should be updated to v2 as its not directly compatible and would improve things understanding wise.

Yes this looks like it is using cgroups v1 and v2 does changes things up enough that its not a great guide.

Podman uses crun by default but will use runc if unavailable. Buildkit doesn't look too useful(?) with podman as some of its better features are built in to podman.
