Probably because of the far more atrocious "me and my wife" grammar error. Edit: Wait, "for my wife and I" was a grammatical error?! The fuck? Fuck the rules! That's a stupid rule.

Kinda like the companies that produce really gross chemicals and make the owner millions, only to become superfund sites that get cleaned up with taxpayer money many years later? :D

Ugh. I understand exactly what you're talking about here. I work in SoCal for a smaller aerospace firm. According to glassdoor, the pay is pretty decent (a little above average for a software engineer out here), but it really pales in

It depends on how ruthless the city is about parking enforcement. AFAIK Some places have laws against parking at broken meters. Then again some places say it's legal. https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/p

Speaking of that, iTunes Radio and Apple Music are TERRIBLE guis! The web-based column views are really limited and crappy. You can do so much better with web GUIs if you want to, but Apple just wanted to waste a ton of screen space.

Yeah, in an ideal world, I really don't give a damn what my coworkers wear. Seriously. In a less ideal world: As long as management doesn't get the idea to mandate dress clothes or GOD FORBID business casual, I'm fine. Fuck b

I saw this circle jerk and have to say: I and the vast majority of my friends grew up in the Bay Area. The vast majority of those I went to college with (and studied CS or EE or whatever) ended up working in the Bay Area. Almost all of them

Ya know how a popular defense for ridiculous interviews is something like "well, they have so many candidates that they will definitely have one that can do that." What about having a 4 year computer science degree? If you grew up

I've thought about getting Speed Queens next time around. As it stands though, I have the cheapest XL washer/dryer Whirlpool makes and they've held up fantastic over 5 years of heavy use. The washer is loud and makes the ligh

Luckily that's been the case for me. I work primarily on-site, but can work from home pretty easily since the hardware I test on is easily reachable from VMs I can remote into.

5 years ago I bough the cheapest side-by-side fridge Best Buy had. It is a $900 whirlpool OEM Amana. It's as dumb as the refrigerator my parents had 20 years ago. :D No complaints here! It works great!
