Oakland and East Bay folks interested in participating can come to the MADE http://www.themade.org this afternoon, around 4 or 5, when the Ludum Dare will be starting. We'll be hosting open hours for game jammers all weeken

Appropriate, seeing as how Kent State is in Ohio, too. Clearly, they learned their lessons in Ohio: shoot students first, ask questions later.

Yeah, wtf ever happened to .aero!? I see the occasional .info, but wasn't there also supposed to be a .museum? Hurrah for someone actually doing something with TLDs.

I think you've got a few options. Route 1 is to spread it by hand, post it on 4chan /v/ or on Neogaf and ask for advice there, as you did here. Second option is to buy actual ads on those same sites, Facebook, Twitter. But th

Hey, this is really terrific! Extremely impressive, especially the fact it's so small (code size). This expresses a real retro sensibility that most "retro" style games miss: pixel art shouldn't take up megabytes of spac

This comes from a very concerted effort by highly placed folks in the US (Koch Brothers, health care companies). Essentially, they create fear and confusion around the new laws through Fox News and dial-in radio, and American idiots eat it
