I don't think disabling internet connection will help you focus. If you want to focus for some time, then you will. Also, I made something similar just a week or two ago. It doesn't disable anything, it just shows you an icon in status bar.

Thank you. It slightly reminds me of mercuryapp.com. That one asks you how you feel about stuff. I didn't use it much, instead I wrote a diary where I rated my efforts every day and I added a little note.
