Big benefit to me was being able to do it all with parser combinators, and without having to drop into another language like lex and yacc.

FParsec is fantastic. I have implemented a parser that supports a indentation based language in it. FParsec makes it very productive, and very fun.

We've started using mercurial evolve at my company. It feels like the best of both worlds. I can rebase and get all the nice clean history I want, but under the hood the original work is still there. It also allows for safely editing p

Jenkins + the Job DSL Plugin [0] has been amazing. We don't do any configuration in the web interface, instead everything lives in a groovy file on BitBucket. Every time we push a change Jenkins grabs it and auto runs the groovy file,

A private blood test that reports total serum testosterone costs between 50-100 dollars, and requires going into a lab to get blood drawn. If the cue is accurate this it will be ridiculously better.

Exactly! The fact that Git allows you to destructively rewrite history public history is EVIL. Not every user of revision control is going to have a Phd in Not Fucking Up The Repo and I never want a situation like the Jenkins devs had[1] to

Could you wrap the 'logo-pro' img tag in an anchor instead of using js to redirect? Using js to redirect breaks ctrl clicking to open in a new tab, and keeps me from staying on your cool blog post.
