The problem with ACTA is that it's not even democratically enacted. It was negotiated in secrecy to the point that the Obama administration said it couldn't be disclosed for reasons of national security. It's a travesty on every level, an

I think the easy way around that would be a landing page that wasn't at Dropbox. It would decrease the number of signups due to the extra click required, but it wouldn't cost you your AdWords account either.

In my opinion, patent 'trolling' is a good thing, (as long as it doesn't happen to me). Why? because the harder they troll, the more obviously broken the system will be, and the more likely it is to get fixed. I think this is really naive

My wife is Hungarian - I'm American and the kids have grown up in the States mostly. They're bilingual, but culturally essentially American, with some hybrid vigor from bicultural exposure.

Dude, look at the ongoing travesty in Washington and tell me again that Slovakia has more prevalent corruption. I'm just not sure I believe it. It's just less smooth and more obvious in a small country.

In 2006, we were in Budapest, watching TV, and they had a thing where you could SMS a number and your text would scroll across the screen. My daughter, then 12, was amazed that people were allowed to criticize the government in public like

It's all well and good making your secret deals to make the rich richer, but when the people find out, they're often not too pleased. Central Europe still remembers throwing their bums out - and in some cases lining them up against a wall

Could be worse - if something works anywhere , the United States won't do it. Health care? How can we afford to keep everybody healthy when we have to fight bioterrorism?

That's actually pretty plausible - my site never earned more than $30 a month, for example. Also it's unbelievably cynical.
