True, though I doubt that would've happened either (possibly it would have sped up this publication).

I mostly agree, unless the new release modifies GPL code submitted by other entities than Google - their licensing of that code under GPL would force Google to release the rest too.

Ah right, I'm making my boss happy with that one I suppose? Well, glad I also had the local landmark icon on it then, to prove that I'm also a free thinker. Then again, the laptop after that had an "I work with someone from T

As a JS developer, I once had a sticker in the npm font, but it said "left-pad". I liked that one. Just a pretty one is fine too though. I had a cool one at some point that was the logo of a small local meetup with friendly organi

I think the reason you're considering it rhetorical overreach is because you're taking it seriously. If the author doesn't actually mind the removal of XSLT support (i.e. possibly rues its removal, but understands and accep

Haha, my first thought too; I'm sure you can also just find some spots where someone is bound to bump one over. It might just get suspicious the fourth time around, though then again, that might make the party memorable.

Haha I just added it as a fun fact, I don't actually believe folks will need to start retraining things, or that this is likely to be at the top of the priorities list for anyone. Party programmes are aspirational anyway.

I don't think the Turing Test has been passed. The test was setup such that the interrogator knew that one of the two participants was a bot, and was trying to find out which. As far as I know, it's still relatively easy to find o
