You can get pretty far through imputation. SNPs can reveal plenty about the rest of your genome even if it hasn’t been directly sequenced. Reference populations and linkage disequilibrium go a long way.

Is this a parody comment? Hard to tell on this website to be honest.

These sour grapes comments are so goofy, and honestly a little racist. The millions of Chinese engineers working out in China are extremely talented, and to downplay their achievements like this and to chalk them all up as thieves is ridicu

This is an incredibly childish take on geopolitics. It’s almost funny.

I am highly suspicious of the Real Engineering channel. It seems like he does full on marketing videos for whoever is willing to pay or provide access. The video on Helios was suspect and so is this one.

An explicit endorsement of Ukraine seems a little weird as an official stance from HN.

This is not a popular analysis. Russia has ramped up their war machine significantly over the last 2 years and have been successfully grinding Ukraine down. They can and will continue to do this. They’ve reoriented their economy around sust

The conventions are widely used and Python is used successfully in numerous “large monoliths”. Saying that the conventions may as well not exist if they’re not enforced is demonstrably nonsense.

I really fail to see how the stated credentials here add up to a team that can achieve fusion on ships. I hope you’re able to hoover up enough VC money to find people who have the appropriate backgrounds to do this.

Was curious about how this would perform for something I was actually interested in this morning. I live in Canada and want to sell my PS5 to GameStop, and I was wondering what accessories to include. Overall it performed quite poorly answe

I think any Canadian that identifies as “far left” would find your post hysterical. They don’t even have a party to vote for anymore - best they can do is a begrudging vote for the NDP. This country has been on a rightward shift for decades

I’ve noticed a ton of non-Canadians like to reference this event as if it’s some incredible example of government tyranny gone too far. Nearly anyone who lived in Ottawa during this time (like me) would say the police completely failed the

Quite the claim and hyperbole. I’m fairly certain the exact opposite will happen because most people are not tech savvy and will not bother to circumvent the blocks in place. Some local alternatives will pop up and they’ll use that instead.

In this case was X not explicitly asked to remove the illegal content? They could have simply complied with the local law and avoided this outcome. With their hardcore engineers I’m sure they could have come up with a region-locked solution
