Minor quibble but in case anyone wonders like I did, the cases for units are mostly backwards. When he writes "Kb", he means "kB" (I looked at the size of the homepage, which is 10kB). For anyone wondering what I'm

Thanks! That's the kind of imagery I'm looking for but not the resolution. I should have made it clearer but what I'm looking for is images with resolution like in this article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/

A little off topic but are you aware of anywhere that provides high resolution night-time imagery? So far I've only been able to find a little from Himawari-8.

In that case though, why claim to be "decentralized"? That to me means one large, interconnected network, which one can access through any of its members. Mastodon is decentralized; you can make an account on any server and search

I think to be able to say you're a "decentralized alternative to YouTube, Flickr, SoundCloud", you really need some way to search across all the servers in the network or at least interact with them and as far as I can tell,

Held as ETFs? Assuming it's in big ones like VOO, they can see $400M turnover in a business day, so if you're not picky about getting the best fill price and just sell at the bid, you should be able to do it within a minute or two

Because nobody else has asked, when you say "cold, hard cash", do you mean that literally? As in a case full of physical greenback?

That and the 1500 EUR price. Can you imagine spending 2-3 large, high quality TVs worth of money and leaving it on the counter? Don't know how practical it is but a cool extension would be to mount it on a movable mount on the ceiling

The maximum current penalty is 4% of worldwide turnover. I imagine that if it becomes clear that isn't enough to force compliance, legislation can be passed to raise the penalty.
