Had an 15" XPS 9550 a few years back. With standard everyday use I needed 3 trackpad replacements in 12 months. To Dell's credit their support and onsite repair was excellent.

This is a great usecase for diff tracking. 1) Store all actions by a user as as an array of add/remove commands (where a change is remove+add). 2) Whenever you need to re-render take the cached version from the last render and perform

I initially thought the same, but using even the current gen avatars for multiplayer on the Quest 2 feels great and is surprisingly convincing. The speech to mouth movement detection looks natural and combined with the body language being a

I see this more in the same vein as Slenderman or The Backrooms - no one is taking this seriously, it's just the right mix of creepy and expansive that makes it perfect for the internet to iterate on.

I'd really like to hear more from Svelte devs about what non-happy paths look like. I specialise in React.js and there are any number of escape hatches to make sure you can get something working just the way you want. What I fear about

Yep this is it. If you nest IDs you just end up burdening all consumers with having to mimic your hierarchical structure when they don't need to.

Yep, this is the big one! Bonus round: The "pictures" you're allowed to use (sprites that aren't the map, objects or system UI), must be explicitly set so if you want to render an integer as a picture you need 10 if stat

Probably not :) The funny thing is that I implemented all the mechanics but burnt out on the pixel art, and I can't see myself wanting to grind that out. The game has 700+ scenes!

The project was started around 2008 iirc! XP and VX were out at the time, but the larger resolution and mapping limitations were dealbreakers for me. They've since fixed these issues in the more recent engines so I wouldn't choose

I say this as probably one of the most skilled rm2k3 devs (credentials: rpgmaker.net/games/5794/), don't develop using this generation anymore. I think this project is neat from a preservation perspective, but there are

What solved it for me was trying meditation, just of my own accord. I wasn't even trying to sleep, but nearly blacked out 3 times in 20 minutes just clearing my mind and focusing on my breathing in a dark room. After that I just do the
