I have been totally happy with aspnet core razor templates and regular 'ol javascript when interaction is need in the FE. If/when I need to get fancier Lit (lit.dev) is on my radar.

Rclone is great! I used it in a CI/CD pipeline to sync a files from a git repo to S3 for CDN distribution.

No, while it supports a number of big-box cloud provider storage systems it also includes smaller providers and various protocols. Protocols like HTTP, FTP, SFTP, SMB, local filesystem, and things like "S3 compatible".

I still find Ansible compelling when I don't want to go full blown K8S. For example it's much easier to run a linux instance and use Ansible to move files and restart systemd hosting my web-app.
