I think the whole debate about air travel boils down to the different people which would be affected by a ban or increased prices/taxes. A lot of activists see the (often) unnecessary flights taken by business travelers or celebrities,

> We do “torture testing“: run a test case once and count the number of “fallible” function calls it makes. Those are calls to memory allocation, file operations, socket read/write etc. Then re-run the test that many times, and for

This is such a dumb whataboutism point. Either discredit the data or the argument.

As long as there are no criminal charges for such behaviour this won't change. Licking ice cream in a store is a 'terrorist threat' [1]. DuPont dumping chemicals for years leads to nice profits and a few settlements here and

I don't think I get your point exactly. The point of this challenge was to show how an average Windows gamer would fare if they tried to use Linux for gaming(without having prior knowledge).

Good point. I believe he mentioned something about doing an additional video where he wants to put the whole challenge into context, by comparing it to Windows from the point of view of a novice user.

I recommend checking out Linus's WAN-Show videos, they discuss it there with more context and nuance, something which the shorter cut videos can't do that well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN3QFw2BEcw&t=358

Lego is really a shadow of what it once was. Brand partnerships seem more important than the quality and fun/playability of the products. It's becoming more and more a collectors toy rather than something for kids to play with.

I'm saying that would be nearly impossible, therefore improbable and implying the Secret Service would cover it up is also improbable. So no, he didn't do anything on these flights.

You can think of Bill Clinton all you want, but do you think he would be stupid enough to do it with Secret Service on board and basically watching him? Not one flight mentions him before his presidency.

You're right it's Neuralink. Oh, I kinda believe he wants to make it work but it will be overpromised and underdelivered as always.

There is nothing wrong with a union standing by its members. But do nurses investigate themselves? The police does. Can you get banned from the police? They get rehired all the time in a different department. How many nurses get fired when

You make it sound like there is absolutely no reason for this whatsoever on the side of the police. It's also not really high risk when compared to other jobs which people perceive as more "normal", it 22nd in the US: https:

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. This sound like whataboutism to me. First, most people just don't know how much they are under surveillance, and it's not like the pushback against this data gathering isn't

Setting up a LLC takes a day or two and about 100 dollars. You dont even need to sell shares, just a contract which entitles you to a vote or a future share of the company.

The team may be in the public, but neither on Twitter nor on their website is any imprint or personal information. The proper way to do it, would be to set up a non-profit organization where each funding/paying member gets voting right
