The Boring company doesn't have any new tech that makes their tunnels cheaper, they are just smaller [1]. Smaller tunnels also mean less capacity, that's why I would argue that the total cost doesn't matter as much as the &qu

Absolutely. It's a marketing gimmick, not reality. I think solar cells on EV will be a thing if something like perovskites hit the market. 20% efficiencies for very cheaply printed solar cells, would be a nice add-on if they are basica

Looking at their website [1] they claim a 625 km range with a 60 kWh battery (10.4 kWh per 100km) and up to 70 km of additional solar range ("Based on a 35 km workday commute in Southern Spain in spring and summer"). Therefore the

I agree that the current patent system is broken, but there are a lot of situations where I think protecting an invention for some time is warranted. Let's say you invest 10 years of your life trying to develop a new cure or drug, but

Is pay up or compensation? Since stock-based compensation is the norm and the stock market had "some" growth, this wouldn't be surprising.

I would add to that list, that I can easily get by with zero plugins on a Craft install, it's impossible for me to do that on Wordpress. The over-reliance on Wordpress plugins and their often terrible security is my nightmare.
