Given the absolute state of their website on mobile it's hardly surprising. It's faster to find an employee and ask them where an item is at instead of waiting for the search to finish, see that it the "current store" no

Well the current models that cost per output sure love wasting those tokens on telling me how I am the greatest human being ever that only asks questions which get to the very heart of $SUBJECT.

IIRC it was supposed to be a sequel for 2006 one at some point, but some development and name rights shenanigans happened. When it was developed as a sequel, the story was completely different.

Arcanum is an awesome game. Shame the OST was never released on vinyl.

Worth qualifying as Prey (2017). Somewhat related[1] to Prey(2006) which is also a great game. Chris did not work on the 2006 one. [1]: it's complicated.

Built a NAS last winter using the same case. Temps for HDDs used to be in mid-50s C with no fan and about 40 with the stock fan. The case-native backplane thingamajig does not provide any sort of pwm control if the fan is plugged in, so it&

FWIW, there's a step by step soldering guide in the readme: https://github.com/PegorK/f32#building-the-f32 It looks doable, but of course a lot of carefulling is required when placing the components.

Power supplies may fail in a cascading manner. Unless it's something like a fuse that was blown due to a known external event, one broken component can take out a couple of friends with it. If you can get a new board for 40$, that'

There are IM groups where folks mail around breakout boards. There is, AFAIK, no point to the board after the inital rooting.

The brochure linked from TFA has a screenshot of a combination of segmentation and object recognition models which are fairly standard in NVRs. Quick skim of the vendor website seems to confirm this[1] and states a claim that they are not a

I wonder if it's similar to how mefical doctors feel about their jobs. It's gotta turn into a bit of a routine, otherwise they will just spend time in that existential crisis and not get anything done. > This is cool as heck, a

I've gotten great mileage out of a ttyd-based container that runs bash with nix. Ttyd exposes the shell over web endpoint. I can just drop it into the environment and pull in tools that I need using nix.

I believe Synology's UPS monitoring is based on nut-server[1]. In my setup, I am running the server on a separate machine that reads UPS state over USB and Synology is just a client. Maybe UNAS could also just work as a client. [1]: h

There's nut-server project to take care of the shutdowns. Compatible UPS can be read from using SNMP or USB and nut-server can distribute the status to the clients. Clients may elect to shut down. Does your desktop actually drain 1kw d

2 years seems pretty quick. Do batteries die or something else? Laptops generally don't have the best thermals, so there's a limit to how much chooch you can get from them.

I have the original mainboard (i5, 11th gen) the laptop came with in that coolermaster case. Generally really quiet, but fans have kicked in a few times and it was pretty noticeable. Since it's VESA mountable, I might just move it into

If it's just the mainboard and no screen, OP could put it in a dedicated case like the CoolerMaster one: https://www.coolermaster.com/en-global/products/framework/

Jonsbo N4 works really well for me. One downside is that the space for PCI cards provides only about half a standard height, so GPU choice is very limited. Low profile Arc A310 fits like a glove but is pretty hard to find these days

WireGuard by itself has a pretty noticeable network pattern and I don't think they make obfuscating it a goal. There are some solutions that mimic the traffic and, say, route it through 443/TCP.
