I'll be honest, the performance issue is almost never the language used. You can write Python code that's very fast for almost any usecase (using numpy/pandas/vaex/polars/etc). Similarly for Java. The main thin

The analogy here is that the CDO is a financial product that's built from other debts. Specifically, it was a piece of partial ownership on a bunch of mortgages in 2008. The issue here is that when the junk mortgages defaulted, the CDO

Serious question: as an average person, are those hardware security issues (rowhammer, spectre, meltdown) an actual risk? My understanding with spectre and meltdown was that it was an issue for escaping VMs and similar attacks - something A

You can't add nvme that get the nvme level of performance. Especially not at the level we'd be used to in any other serious isecase (eg. Split PCIe lanes into x4 and have a bunch of fast storage)

Shouldn't you try to get something with PCIe bifurcation in this case? I doubt you're saturating the PCIe bus bandwidth on any of them? I imagine your DB is extremely high performance, though!
