And furthermore, "bare" YouTube experience (what type of stuff they promote on their front page when it's not customized by my recommendations - basically what I see when I'm not logged in) is truly nauseating to me.

I actually like the YouTube recommendation system. It manages to pleasantly surprise me pretty often. I don't have significant privacy concerns about it - the stuff I enjoy on YT is quite aligned with my public persona, so to speak. I&

This has been my experience with RN too (admittedly, a few years back). So much time wasted on troubleshooting random glitches that occur for seemingly unrelated reason. Some minor library version update? Boom, your breakpoints no longer wo

I quite liked Launchy and I can recommend it. This being said, it's inexplicable to me why this particular feature isn't supported on Windows out of the box. The nearest equivalent (search feature in the Start menu) is pretty bad.

To me Google Inbox was the best incarnation of an email client ever (both the mobile and web app). They have quite inexplicably pulled the plug on it though.

Why is it only rated 2.9 on Play Store? The negative reviews look quite articulate, it doesn't seem like coordinated manipulation.

Well, I think there are quite a few popular chess channels that people watch without actually thinking it's going to improve their chess level. (It's actually typical of watching sports). Eg. Botez sisters (who aren't even pa
