Positioning is already a huge part of the game, and every wall, corner and box to duck behind has a strategic purpose that one must be aware of, just not based on lighting but geometry and game strategy. So adding a whole other mechanic to

Yes, but they have vowed to maintain manifest V2 support, at least until it becomes unfeasible. It also comes with its own ad blocker. Then again, Brave is an advertisement company, same as Google. And the CEO is Brendan Eich, notorious for

I'm not the person you asked, but I could have written the exact same comment. For me, SSB and chromium's much better profile functionality are the biggest hurdles when trying to move to Firefox or a Firefox-based browser. I also

Oh wow, I didn't know artifacts were shareable, and you can even take it to your own conversation to keep tinkering with it. I'm gonna have fun with this, thanks!

I didn't mind it, it inspired me. I've always wanted to play with doing something like that, but I've always found it difficult to work with sound and music; and even though I use AI for tons of stuff it never occurred to me

I have to agree with that post. The only objective of this foundation seem to be the advertisement of the term "social web", I guess because they found "fediverse" to not be marketable enough. The web doesn't have t

Sorry about the dismissive comments you're getting. You hacked something up and I think it's pretty cool and surprisingly fun. You nailed it with the beep at the start of each audio too. Feels warm, like actual humans communicatin

Yeah, valid point. You're right, a game with no anti-cheat or a bad one will have more cheaters. But as you said, it's about the tradeoff, and that's what isn't "great". It was for a period of two years or so,

You forgot blindness. If you're transparent, your eyes won't be able to refract light. Which is good if you also have homicidal urges, but awful if you get diarrhea.

Was your only input to ask some guy? When I play with SDXL, I can spend an hour or more on a single image, between prompting and inpainting, and playing with dozens of variables. Each final work is a collage made by generating each detail o

I think it's ridiculous to try to paint Google as a little fruit stand asking to "please pay me". Google has more money than god. They are an awful abusive company, and they do break all social contracts and abuse every looph

I don't think neither legality nor ad-free viewing entitlement are even factors in this conversation. What I'm entitled to is to do whatever I want with every bit of data I download through my browser. The day this stops being the

I don't understand. If I make a painting (hell, or a whole animated movie) in the style of Studio Ghibli, am I infringing their copyright? I don't think so. A style is just an idea, if you want to protect an idea to the point of n

I've read a few articles like this in the last few days and I don't understand why everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room. It's 2024 and Safari is still not evergreen. When people say Safari is the new Internet Explore

I really don't like how disingenuous, propagandistic and patronising Simmons is being in this article. Ending each section saying "all this will be impossible if not done the way I like", which is absolutely not true. There&#

Given the question was about channels worth following in 2024, I'm not sure about including Tom Scott, since he's sadly just now stopping his 10 year streak of releasing weekly videos.

Arguing what is and isn't AI is kinda futile, since there's no solid definition. I remember some old footage I once found on YouTube of a very primitive automated system for an airport control tower (I think it was). I don't

How effective could this be? Maybe if it was super popular, maybe integrated on some browsers like brave or opera, it might send a message, but otherwise, isn't it just a way to give money to ad companies?
