So variables are explicitly declared, don't have issues of mis typing a variable name and accidentally declaring a new one. Note: This is just my thinking, I don't know if it's the actual reason

It's not even using 1% of my CPU. It checks one prime every 100ms, so it doesn't really use a lot of anything.

For gaming that will change with the new console releases. The Xbox One is >4x more powerful than the Xbox 360 and the PS4 is >6x. It might take a few years, but the slump in increasing processing needs will probably die off.

Frankly I think Firefox performs a lot better than Chrome for memory usage now. After a few days of having Chrome open it's usually using between 3 and 6GB of RAM (Usually Facebook is using a gigabyte so killing that tab frees up a lot

I don't really see how the features they removed are incompatible with not requiring online checkins every 24h and certainly not with the used game policy. I don't see why they couldn't have made the online checkins optional,
