Did you go to same university, the same clubs? Have a look at lot of founders on linkedin. You'll notice a lot go to the same small set of universities, or worked for same companies. Then there's the odd exception. But they'r

But the reality doesn't really show that. Most growth comes large highly capitalised companies with money to invest in expanding knowledge and capital. The startup making it big is still relatively rare thing in the grand scheme things

Will this run off the mainline kernel? Or will require strange patches from somewhere? Half the problem with orange pi is lack of main Linux distribution support.

"Most software dev roles in the UK top out between £40 and £50k, £60k if you're lucky" was the comment I was replying to. But I agree we don't compete with the USA. Even London struggles with that.

You've moved the goal posts. You said 60k if your lucky. I just found multiple jobs that pay more than that easily. 85k job up north is a comparable lifestyle than 100k+ job in London.

There's a huge JLR presence in Solihull right next to Birmingham. It's also one of the wealthiest areas outside of London. But house prices in the really nice parts of Solihull are also high.

I like AI for specific tasks its suited to and the tech involved. But i'm skeptical it can create widespread massive productivity improvements. I think its bit oversold on that. We seem to lack people to fix pot holes, not report them.

MMT isn't a set policies. It's a description of how money works, when you have fiat currency. Government is a source of money. Taxation is a sink. Too much money in the system you get inflation, not enough deflation. When you can

At my place 90% of them are 3rd parties going down, and you can't do much other than leave. But the new 3rd parties are just as bad. All you can do gracefully handle failure.

Parse Tree and AST are slightly different. A parse tree can be implict. A recursive descent parser can can explore the parse tree without there being an explict parse tree data structure.
