I wouldn't call surge pricing a dirty trick, but fairly fundamental pricing mechanics. High demand = high prices = more incentive for drivers to come online to solve demand issues.

It does work, especially if you have a complicated business domain. It probably takes longer than building a single app but less than building two. As you said you build your business code as device agnostic. In our case we follow DDD, so o

All those arguments have elements of truth in them. You probably won't be a development job with a large amount of responsibility any time soon as you build up your skills. You will be fairly junior for quite a few years, and you will

Social proof is a catch 22. Social proof is proof of previously being successful(or perceived to be). They want the return of investment to granted as possible. And for that they want previous successes. But to get those success you need so

Surely if companies are desperate for developers, there would be very few unemployed developers.

Surely you only get more unemployment when its artificially increased by law. There would be nothing stopping a individual developer accepting a lower salary. But probably won't because companies are desperate for them.

The advantages of feature branches is that you can turn them on and off easily without trying merge in, or revert and dealing with the resultant conflicts this can cause. Feature switches also have more advanced features like being able tar
