Wait, but what if you have std::string str1{"Apple"}; std::string str2 = std::move(str1); Isn't str1 in an invalid (err, unspecified?) state and you shouldn't use it? It's not `null` sure, but it's not good to

I'd also imagine you just have more communication overhead with more people. E.x. standups will take longer if you have twice as many people working half as much. And communication costs might even scale O(n^2) of people, not hours w

You are asking for snark with a reply like that you know. I have forgotten to close the garage a few times, so I get a notification if it's open for more than an hour, or past ten pm. Motion sensor connected lights are great, and even

Hm, rebooting the pi doesn't change any state on its own. Lights which are ZigBee or wifi might turn on when power is restored, and most of my automations are of the form "when motion sensor state changes to occupied: turn on ligh

Speaking of that last thing, what's the best way to implement different brightnesses based on time in HA's yaml? I could do a bunch of ifs in each automation but there might be a better way?

I mean, you also have to be careful to return pointers and not smart pointers and so on. It can be a bunch of work if you need to write a bunch of freestanding functions to wrap the c++ object methods.
