You're not landing this thing in a 30mph crosswind in something this small, no matter how fancy the control logic. You'd be too skewed to land safely. 30mph is pushing is for some airliners. The aircraft this is built on is only c

The thing that worries me is that this will attract the same kind of pilots as Tesla's so called FSD.

How do you propose this training happens? Surely this will require a full PPL as you're well above LSA limits. I'd also be deathly afraid of what happens when the automation inevitably fails.

What's the benefit? It doesn't taste different. It's just a thing that appeals to luddites and granola moms.

I do not trust Big Ag. I’m convinced they’d mix hog shit in with the sausage if they thought they could get away with it - and no, I don’t support allowing the commercial sale of unpasteurized milk, either.

For observational studies the data has often already been collected. Annually survey a few tens of thousands of people, anonymize that, store it... in 10 or 20 years you go back and see how those people did. Induct a new cohort each year. T

I don’t think they were saying that, just some posted here. They’re allowed to set the rules on private property. A NASA launch site is not a public park.

Feels like you're missing a variable here. If your nieces time in a fast pool would be 25th in Paris, that means her time in Paris will be slower than that, because now she's in the slow pool, right?

Not as such, but working for a credible agency is certainly a thing. Could be a newspaper or a TV station, or a syndicate like the Associated Press or UPI.

I do I. Fact live almost at the Coast. Just to get to Asheville, which is hardly the westernmost point in the state, is over 6 hours. Los Angeles to SF is 381 miles. My town to the Cherokee, which is about where the rainforest zone starts,

Nah, as someone who lives somewhere with actual humidity “mid day” is basically “whenever the sun is up”. 85 and humid here is worse than -00 and dry in Phoenix. It’s so humid your sweat can’t evaporate because the air is already saturated.
