Not just that, but there's a good pool of tech talent due to relaxed immigration laws and being an attractive destination and an English speaking country (for the most part).

The problem is, is that git will happily destroy history. git blame is not useful because it doesn't tell you who authored the line of code.

Having an official central server is precisely what you want in most development environments. Being able to go back to any prior version of the code is tremendously useful and something git can't do.

If someone consistently leaves five-star reviews, then they should be removed. Even if genuine, as in not paid for, they are still noise as this person is indiscriminate in their praise.

I was driving from Berlin to Skopje once, and at one point really needed a rest, having not found a hotel in Austria. In Croatia, I did find a place that I could rent a room for 4 hours so I could have a shower and a nap before continuing

That's interesting. I did work for a company, that had itself registered as a certificate authority on the computer's browser, and for most sites, e.g. Wikipedia, it would use its own certificates and presumably monitor what you

Git is particularly poor in scenarios such as two people working on the same branch. SVN handles this with ease, but with Git it takes a lot of coordination amongst both contributors to keep things working.

Not really comparable. A charging point is more like a parking spot, where you park the car and charge it, you might not come back to it for days.
