If i'm using "secure" search, I would expect my queries to not be sent to an analytics system.

permission to read doesn't always imply they are uploading. If it's behaving the same as the iOS version then it's going to scan your contacts for friends who are also Instagram members

If I had bought one share in Apple six years ago then they would have paid for five years of developer membership fees.

Ok, I see the rest, apparently I was looking in "Staff Picks". I don't see a way to buy, is this rental only for movies?

There are a total of 71 movies listed, or am I missing something?

Adding Windows 2000 into his list would change the entire article.

Would have been a bit more useful to show the traffic before the blackout for frame of reference, this just looks like an unchanging level of activity.

Some good points, but very narrow focus on web development. Not everyone can work in a VM for performance reasons, and many projects target multiple different environments making it useful to have your devs on different versions to get more

I don't know why people keep bringing up this "alternative medicine" thing, claiming he could just have had surgery and been cured. The details of his illness and his treatment were, quite rightly, private. Unless somebody links to a video

So, let's get this right. Google just got all in a huff about people spending $4.5B on patents and then goes out and spends $12.5B on a company with one of their primary stated motives being the acquisition of patents?

Done. Interesting that the USB stick version is so much more, I assume it's really only for those upgrading from pre 10.6, so it's similar to the cost of Snow Leopard + Lion + cost of media
