The schema certainly can, but GraphQL queries have the valuable (in many but not all contexts) property that the response structure mirrors the request structure. If your request is nested no deeper than four scopes, then the response will

This is entirely fair -- I agree! REST isn't a protocol in the same sense that HTTP is. Although I believe a protocol's semantics and encodings should be distinguished a la REST, a way to talk about a particular encoding would b

Where does your definition of "an indexing" originate? The word "index" literally means "to point at" (hence, index/pointer finger), and in this sense, every element may indeed be indexed -- in this case,

Right, I was being a bit loose there. I meant something like how `xxd` displays the number of bytes up to the current output row. Just something to give context of where you are in the file. 00006980: 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 000

I admit, my first thought on seeing the title was "What's wrong with xxd?" This is nice! I like the colorization a lot -- it's like with source code, you don't realize how much you rely on the colors until you get a

From the readme, this is based on miniKanren, so the name is a reference to that language. miniKanren itself has a Wikipedia page that also mentions the Japanese etymology of the name. Logic languages like Prolog are usually based on relati

That's a great point! Helping devs get up to speed on the changes is definitely a significant concern for editions, which is, I'm sure, why they put so much effort into creating a dedicated edition guide: https://doc.ru

My understanding is that, since the edition is a per-crate property, crates that don't jump to 2018 aren't any worse off, and will continue to compile on both old and new compilers. I'd also be interested to know whether `car

Is there an issue posted somewhere on this? From a glance, I would imagine you could mediate across the FFI using an `i32`, and provide an `impl From<i32> for Foo` that neatly separates the discriminated and excess cases.
